Reasons For Using Aluminum 6061 & 7075-T6 in CNC Manufacturing Products

7075-T6 is aluminum alloy. If you capture our function on the 4130 chromatogram, you will know that an alloy is a metal with a mixture of two or more elements. 7075 aluminum is a mix of 4 different materials: aluminum, 5.6% to 6.1% zinc, 2.1% to 2.5% magnesium and 1.2% to 1.6% copper.

6061 aluminum is an alloy mixed with many other elements. In addition to aluminum, you can also find silicon, iron, copper, manganese, magnesium, chromium, zinc and titanium. Although most of them only account for 0.04% to 0.8%, of which aluminum accounts for about 94%, they still play an important role in the manufacture of strong materials.

AL 6061 & 7075-T6

Aluminum itself is very soft, easy to bend, and will not bend back to its original state. There are multiple aluminum contents starting from 1100, which is the softest, non-heat treatable and cannot be machined. 7075 is the hardest and can be heat treated and processed. This is why it can be used on Anebon products, because heat treatment makes it stronger, and CNC machining is one of the most common methods for making metal blocks into products such as rods.
